Join BEST Boston!

BEST Boston is a 10-week consulting experience where UMass Boston business undergrads work in teams of 2 to help local businesses (small shops, startups, small businesses, larger organizations, nonprofits - anyone!) with whatever challenges you're facing. Could be marketing ideas, financial planning, social media setup, operations tweaks, data insights, a competitive analysis, or something else entirely. Each team is guided by a faculty mentor to ensure quality.
All we ask from our business partners is a project contact who can meet with the students roughly an hour a week for status updates. There's no cost at all - it's our way of giving students hands-on experience while supporting the community. The 2026 session runs May 26-August 4, 2026.
